How to Find (and Customize) Your Custom Zoom Link

If you are tired of digging through old calendar invites or typing out random strings of numbers just to start a video call, your Personal Meeting ID (PMI) and Personal Link are the ultimate lifesavers. Zoom assigns every user a permanent virtual room that never changes, meaning you can share one consistent link for office hours, team check-ins, or catch-ups with friends.

Part 1: How to Find Your Existing Personal Zoom Link

Depending on whether you are working from your desktop app, your phone, or a web browser, finding your permanent link takes just a few clicks.

Method 1: Using the Zoom Desktop App

1. Open the Zoom desktop client and sign in.
2. Click on the Meetings tab near the top of the window.
3. In the top-right corner of the side panel, click on Personal Meeting ID (or select your Personal Room if visible).
4. A small window will pop up showing your permanent Personal Meeting ID (PMI) and your full Invite Link.
5. Simply click Copy Invitation or hover over the URL and click the Copy icon.
